The tale

Kael of Ashford took the stairs down into the Hollow Crypt. His first kill was a ghoul. Kael of Ashford missed a trap on floor 1, a 52% chance to spot it, and took 5 damage. The rune door on floor 1 stayed shut. A pack of skeletons came rattling down the passage, swords raised. A ghoul's heavy blow smashed through Kael of Ashford's guard. Floor 2 came next. Dust sifted from above, then a slab of the vaulted roof gave way. Kael of Ashford missed a trap on floor 2, a 52% chance to spot it, and took 11 damage. The Iron Gatekeeper's heavy blow landed on Kael of Ashford's guard, and the guard held. Kael of Ashford slew the Iron Gatekeeper on floor 2 and took its trophy.
